Software Asset Management (SAM)

Software Asset Management (SAM) is a best practice incorporating a set of proven processes and procedures for managing and optimizing your organization's IT assets. Implementing SAM protects your software investments and helps you recognize what you have, where it's running, and if your organization is using your assets efficiently.

SAM can help you:
Control costs and business risks for a stronger, healthier financial position.

Optimize existing investments, so that you can do more with what you already have.

Grow with your company's expanding needs in size and maturity through increased flexibility and agility.

I never thought I’d end up writing this yet
this is exactly where life took me. A few months ago,
I got obsessed in online games – Valorant. I wanted to dominate, and
I didn’t want to rely on skill alone.

One evening, I stumbled across a forum thread talking about cheats.
At first it was harmless reading, but the deeper
I went into the thread, the more it felt like a hidden shortcut.

Users were posting clips showing how they climbed from low ranks
to high ones in days. It looked effortless. And of course, none of it was real.

I won’t lie, I actually got close to buying something.
One seller even messaged me privately. That’s when it hit me.

I found threads from players who lost thousands of hours of progress.
Some even wrote how they couldn’t undo the damage. The shock snapped me out of it.

Instead of throwing everything away, I walked away and focused
    on improving the legitimate way.

Now, when I see people chasing cheats, I just think:
it’s never worth it. Just learn from my almost-mistake.
